Hilary Fletcher has spent 25.75 hours volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, the Round Rock Area Serving Center, the Environmental Project, the Project to Benefit Central Texas Kids, and the Capital Area Food Bank. Hilary says that she enjoys volunteering because she is making a difference in her community and meeting new people from our other locations that she might not have met otherwise.
Katey Miller has spent 25 hours volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, the Environmental Project, the Project to Benefit Central Texas Kids, the Austin Zoo, and the the Round Rock Area Serving Center. “I enjoy volunteering because it’s an opportunity for me to give back. I have so much and it’s easy to take it for granted. I don’t have money to give, but I have plenty of time and there are people that need that time way more than I do. I would say it’s as equally, if not more, rewarding for me as it is the people I’m helping. They’re so appreciative and just knowing I’m helping make their life a little less complicated is a huge reward.”
